Solar PV Battery Storage

Once you have had your Solar PVs installed, why not have a storage battery fitted to save the unused electricity that will be harvested throughout the day. By doing this, you will have excess electricity to use later in the day or at another time.

How it works

When the sunlight hits the Solar PVs, it is converted to DC electricity which will be stored in the battery. When the DC electricity is later needed for home use, it will then enter an inverter for conversion to AC electricity. If you have unused energy that you don't need in the evening, you can send it back to the grid and get paid for it via the SEG.

There are different sized batteries to suit small and large properties/buildings. We will be able to assess and inform you of the exact size storage battery that you will need.
